It is such a joy to support my friends in Japan on this bass demo. Bass is my primary instrument, not alot of folks know that as my video feed and online presence is mostly guitar. Free The Tone make very high-end Analog and Digital gear (Most often hybrid). Reminiscent of classic studio gear. Innovated and useful.
I feel grateful to be a part of their artist team. EQ may be the most relevant but underrated pedal for bass or guitar. This one is simply intuitively voiced and intuitively musical.
TK SMITH DESIGN One of my main gigging and studio guitars for a very specific old school country/rockabilly jump swing vibe. Stunning Tones! And unique as it gets!! Cool factor 1000~
Based on the original Bigsby designs, TK Smith is a rare craftsman and artisan in the guitar business and one heck of a great guitar player himself. It’s a long waiting list to get a guitar made, but man oh molly what a guitar!! That is bakelite folks, and hand-cut, hand ‘inlaid’ pickguard, cut out by hand on a 1930’s band saw and then inlaid, one letter at a tine by hand…way-back old school. Hand carved, hand made neck, handmade pickups…handmade custom Bigsby Arm, bridge plate etc…Too much info to describe here…go HERE and enjoy the beautiful guitars!

Rodney Gene Junior, Austin Texas demos the Lollar Low Wind Imperial Humbucker for Lollar guitars. www.lollarguitars.com
Based on lower output PAF’s often found in vintage 335’s,
this pickup set has a brighter overall tone than the Lollar
Imperials. Bottom strings hold together without distorting noticeably longer than most humbuckers.
Combine this with an overall “toppier” tone (as compared to the Imperials) and the result gives exceptional
definition for any chord voicing and great presence for coming through a mix.
Alnico 2 magnets in the neck & alnico 5 magnets in the bridge are de-gaussed to specific levels, unique to the neck and bridge positions.
Nickel silver pickup cover, single conductor braided shield wire- options available. Sold as singles or as sets.
Neck 7.0K, Bridge 7.9K
